Thank you all for your kind comments on my last post and elsewhere, on other people's posts, on Facebook if you've posted something there. It's so lovely to see such warmth towards Rowan, and I know it has been a comfort to her family.
There will be an informal gathering in Richmond Park, a place Rowan loved, on Saturday afternoon. We'll meet at the Richmond Gate (map: http://www.pembroke-lodge.co.uk/images/map.gif) at 2.00PM. Anybody who wants to come - who knew Rowan, online or off, and wants to come together with other people who did and share memories of her, is absolutely welcome. A comment on this post to let me know would be nice, but it's not necessary.
There's supposed to be clear weather on Saturday, so the plan is to find a spot in the park, talk, perhaps play some music (a couple of us will be bringing stringed instruments; please feel free to bring whatever you feel is right for you). There isn't much of a specific plan, but we'll likely retire to one of the pubs near Richmond Park once it gets dark, so if you want to show up later then that's fine too; PM me for my mobile number if you don't have it, so that you can text me when you're close and I can tell you where we are.
Please spread the word, invite anybody you think might want to be there.
